My goal is to offer personal instruction to adults through a custom-designed program that
leads to an understanding of how to go about learning guitar on your own.Lessons are offered at my home studio located in Eugene Oregon.

Method

I use the CAGED system as a template to map out the logic of the fretboard, and apply this logic to teach the theory of basic Western Harmony, using songs of your choice as context to that end.The general focus of our work is on hand position, technique, and tone quality with an emphasis on improvisation and the development of a sense of musical phrasing.
